FIASI’s annual conference will focus on 4 topic areas related to risks and opportunities in sustainable finance with a focus on fixed income:
- Reforming the World Bank and IMF mandates
- Relevance of companies’ energy transition plans to credit analysis: risks and opportunities
- The economic and investment impacts of the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022
- Sustainable finance debt instruments
The event will kick off with a keynote address followed by an exploration of the four topics in sustainable finance and their implications for fixed income investing via moderated panel discussions with time for Q&A. The conference will also feature a presentation on the current state of EU sustainable investing rules and regulations as well as an announcement of the FIASI/Fordham University Third Annual Corporate Social Responsibility and ESG Investing in Fixed Income Research Competition winners. The winners will be invited back to present their research papers at a later date.
