John Giordano, Managing Director and Head of Global Credit Research: Investment Grade, High Yield & Capital Securities, Cantor Fitzgerald. John has over 25 years of sell and buy side experience. Prior to Cantor, John was a senior credit analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence, specializing in European Financial Institutions and REITs. Prior to Bloomberg, John was a Director within the U.S Equity Specialist Sales Group at Credit Suisse Securities as the U.S. Financial Sector Strategist. Prior to joining the specialist sales team, John was a Director in the North American Corporate Credit Sector Strategy group where he was responsible for U.S. banks, finance companies, Mortgage Servicers and REITs for Investment grade, Crossover and Non-investment grade issuers.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse in July 2008, John was with Blue Mountain Capital, a credit-focused, NYC-based hedge fund. Before Blue Mountain, he was a Director in the Fixed Income Department of Guardian Life Insurance Company for over eight years, where he most recently covered US financial institutions in addition to covering both investment grade and high yield industrial credits earlier in his tenure at Guardian. John also spent over five years as an analyst at Morgan Stanley, where he worked in sales before joining the credit team.

John holds a BS from Franklin Pierce University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
