John is one of the senior analysts covering European banks at CreditSights in London. Prior to his arrival at CreditSights in 2005, he spent ten years at Lehman Brothers, latterly as head of its European Credit Research group in London. He served as a Director at the rating agency IBCA, now part of Fitch, from 1987 to 1994, covering banking in Europe and the Americas. He began his career in Midland Bank's International Division, after graduating with a degree in Modern Languages from Cambridge University in 1983.
