Rian M. Pressman is a Director in the Financial Services Ratings Group at S&P Global Ratings in New York. Rian serves as a Lead Analyst for the U.S. bank team, where he manages a portfolio of about 30 depositories, including GSIBs and large regional banks. He also has extensive experience analyzing Canadian banks. Additionally, Rian leads the implementation of ESG initiatives for the region.
Formerly, Rian was analytical leader responsible for the credit ratings on numerous specialty finance companies. He previously worked for more than five years in the Bank Supervision Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Rian holds a Masters of Business Administration degree in banking and finance from Case Western Reserve University and a post-graduate Certificate in Accounting and Taxation from Fordham University. He is also a CFA charterholder.
