Jaimin Patel is a senior credit analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence specializing in investment grade and high yield utility companies and merchant power producers.

Prior to joining Bloomberg, Jaimin was a director and senior credit analyst for SG Americas, where he covered investment grade oil and gas, utilities and metals and mining companies. He was a director and fixed income analyst at Columbia Asset Management, following the investment grade utilities and energy sectors. Hes had analyst positions at Citi and Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.

Jaimin earned a masters of science degree in statistics and operations research from New York Universitys Stern School of Business and a bachelors of science degree in economics from the London School of Economics. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the New York Society of Securities Analysts (NYSSA).
