Roberto Sifon-Arevalo, Managing Director Global Head of Analytics and Research Sovereign & International Public Finance Ratings (IPF) at S&P Global.  In this role, he leads a team of senior specialists based in New York, London, Madrid, Stockholm, Mexico City, & Singapore that monitors ratings on sovereigns, subsovereigns and multilateral and development financial institutions throughout the world. Prior to that, he was the head of the Sovereign and IPF ratings group for the Americas and the Caribbean managing the teams analytical efforts in the region.

Robertos work experience, before joining S&P in 2003 as a sovereign ratings analyst, includes several analytical positions at Banco Santander and Banco Sudameris in Argentina.

He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad de Belgrano, in Argentina, and a Masters Degree in International Affairs, specializing in International Economic Policy, from Columbia University in New York.
