Alfred Mazzorana began his Wall Street career in 1972 specializing in credit and bond indenture research with a focus on the electric utility industry. His early (1977) technical features of high coupon electric utility bonds contributed to revised market trading levels and advising various electric utility companies on bond indenture modifications.
His entire career has been involved in fixed income research and trading, working at Paine, Webber, Jackson & Curtis, E.F. Hutton, UBS Securities and M.J. Whitman & Co.
He was a co-founder of the Fixed Income Analyst Society, Inc.; its’ first Treasurer (1975) and later President (1981).
Currently Mr. Mazzorana is founder and director of ‘Energy Investment Partners, LLC’ a closed-end bond investment group combining expertise in both indenture analysis and bankruptcy law (Chapter 9 and 11) to ascertain investment values in municipal and corporation reorganizations.
Mr. Mazzorana graduated from Baruch College (1975) with an MBA majoring in International Financial Analysis and Accounting. He resides in Greenville, Delaware.
