Dave Sekera, CFA, is Morningstar's Bond Strategist and senior securities analyst covering the consumer products sector. Mr. Sekera has 20 years of experience as a research analyst generating buy/sell and long/short investment recommendations across a wide range of investment grade and high yield issuers, convertible bonds and bank loans. Prior to joining Morningstar, Mr. Sekera was a senior research analyst with an alternative asset management fund and was a Director of Portfolio Management Research at Banc One Capital Markets. Mr. Sekera earned his bachelor's degree in finance and decision sciences from Miami University and has been a CFA charterholder since 1996.

Rick Tauber, CFA, CPA

Rick Tauber, CFA, CPA, is a senior securities analyst covering the industrials sector. Mr. Tauber has over 15 years of experience, primarily as a buy-side fixed income analyst. Mr. Tauber's experience includes making buy/sell/hold recommendations on high yield and high grade bonds, convertible bonds, bank loans, and private placements. Prior to joining Morningstar, Mr. Tauber worked as an analyst at Grace Brothers, a convertible arbitrage hedge fund, and as a fixed income analyst at mutual fund Stein Roe & Farnham and MetLife. Mr. Tauber received an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and a B.S. in accounting from the University of Illinois. He has been a CFA charterholder since 1993.
