The Default Cycle at an Inflection Point? Professor Edward I. Altman Professor Edward I. Altman, the Max L. Heine Professor of Finance, Emeritus at the Stern School of Business, New York University, and a FIASI Hall of Fame inductee (2001) will address the timely question of whether the high yield default cycle is at an inflection point given global growth concerns, depressed commodity prices and a looming Federal Reserve rate hike.
